
Dan Shapiro
Dan’s career started in finance at Morgan Stanley, but after meeting the CEO of a small ad tech start-up he made the move to join Pointroll as employee #10. Dan was fortunate to play key roles in building and scaling high-performing sales teams in the early days of DCO (dynamic creative optimization) at both Pointroll and later Flashtalking. Dan’s journey led him to the programmatic space when he was recruited by AppNexus. This role presented the opportunity to wear multiple hats, collaborating and building connective tissue across core business units while managing strategic hold co and agency relations. Following AppNexus at Amobee Dan led two hold co sales teams focused on helping brands and agencies tackle the convergence of TV, CTV, Digital and social. Dan joins us today from Roku where he is leading hold co platform sales and strategy for the OneView business.
Driven by growth in both career and personal life much of Dan’s spare time is spent with family, but apart from the kids and ad tech he has a passion for vintage cars. In Dan’s words ‘there is something very rewarding about constantly improving a vintage automobile.’
