Integral Ad Science Opens New, Larger Headquarters

NEW YORK, NY–(Marketwired – Oct 20, 2014) – On the heels of being named one of the 10 fastest growing companies in New York by Inc. Magazine and one of Crain’s New York Business’ ‘Fast 50,’ Integral Ad Science today announced that it has relocated to a 25,000-square-foot headquarters in the city’s West Village.

A year ago today, Integral had 67 employees in the U.S., 55 of which were based in New York. Those numbers have grown to 148 total employees, 96 of which are based in the Big Apple. By end of 2014, the company is expecting to have around 180 employees worldwide.

“Our new space is four times bigger than our previous headquarters in Union Square,” said Scott Knoll, CEO of Integral Ad Science. “It gives the ability to all be on one floor, which was a big factor in deciding to take this specific space. It also has beautiful water views.”

In addition to earning ninth place in Inc.’s list of New York’s fastest growing companies, Integral Ad Science placed at No. 115 on this year’s Inc. 500, which lists fastest growing companies in the nation. The company reported earnings of $23.4 million last year and grew its revenue a whopping 3,231 percent from 2011 to 2013. Integral was also ranked No. 7 by Crain’s New York Business’ ‘Fast 50,’ which noted that Integral’s clients are increasing their use of its products as a result of the industry’s greater awareness of viewability issues and the need to prevent fraud.

In commenting to Inc. about the advantages of being based in the Big Apple, Knoll said: “First of all, this is where the largest marketing budgets are.” He also noted that nearby New York University and Princeton produce a rich crop of new engineers and data scientists each fall. And even when recruiting talent from other parts of the country, Knoll said, “It’s not too hard to convince someone to move to the heart of New York.”
